Key terms:

• Board feet - 12"x12"x1" measurement used for pricing and measuring how much wood exists in an individual board or log.

• Green - indicates that a board hasn't been dried and is still wet. Further drying will need to be done by the customer if purchased green.

• Kiln Dried - indicates that a board has been dried to 12-8% moisture content (mc) and is ready to be worked with.
